Aquaculture is utilizing natural surface or artificial pond to keep higher economical value fish species or juvenile. Then feeding, curing disease, making grow fast and proceeding artificial reproduction and planed production career. Where utilized for aquatics breeding called aquaculture pond. Building aquaculture pond should be according to the breeding environment factor of shrimp and fish with engineering measures. The goal is to achieve higher production in artificial management (i.e. changing water, feeding and increasing oxygen).
There are many factor affect the choice of aquaculture pond place. How to collect and organize each factors and analyzed if there are quite relationship between them is valuable to discuss.
Taiwan salmon (Oncorhynchus masou formosanum) have been announced as rare species and endangered species. It needs to be reproduce due to its important science, economic value and rare. However there is no positive result after few years conservation work. The most main reason is its habitat has been broken. In order to raise the salmon population and reproduce successfully, it depends on scientific skill of aquaculture. After breeding them to enlarge population, release them into the natural environment to supply the lost.
Limited to the less population, temporal urgent and financial problem of government, complete aquaculture pond should be chosen in both safety and conservation place. Thus this study bases on literature and experience of field worker and combined with the opinions of experts and scholars. Through practicing effect aquestionnaire, to set up estimate system of aquaculture, then chosen target and estimate standards and detailed rules. Through practicing expert questionnaire and using Analytic hierarchy process (A.H.P.) to get relative weight of every estimated factor. Finally, accept Dr. Tseng’s suggestion of choosing aquaculture pond place to be demonstrated as the candidate area. To get each geography and topography information of candidate places with GIS and cite with relative reference of Shei-Pa National Park. Finally to classify each candidate place with Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Multiple Criteria Decision Making Method. This result will be a reference while aquaculture reproducing of government organization.
