A Study on the Safety Information System for Marine Activityalong Northeast Coast in Taiwan / 東北角海域活動安全資訊系統之探討

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 水利及海洋工程學系專班 / 94 / It is essential for establishing the safe water harmonic environments to let the tourists as well as the administrative bureau being aware of the nature. Based on the hydrological observation in the north-eastern coasts, the present study is mainly focused on the investigations of the factors that are required for setting up the ocean activity safety information system. It is the hope that with the providing of the trend of changes of ocean environments to the administrative bureau, the water activities could be open or restricted accordingly and furthermore to promote the developments of water harmonic activities and relevant industries.
Firstly, the relationship between wind and waves are discussed with respect to different locations and seasons. The results show that there exist significant deviations between the Burtford wind scales and the observed data. This deviation might cause uncertainties in making decisions. Due to the fact that the accurate weather forecasting capability could be regarded as the symbol of advanced countries, it is planned to improve the wind wave correlations and furthermore to develop the numerical modeling technologies for the regional forecast.
