A STUDY OF LIFE CYCLE COST ANALYSIS ON NAVY SHIPSYSTEM / 艦船系統全壽期成本分析研究

碩士 / 國立高雄第一科技大學 / 運籌管理所 / 94 / Can afford and can not afford to use is a phenomenon appears in real life.
Especially it happens when we engaged in the deign or purchase project of
major systems, such as the air traffic control system, the airplane, the warship,
the submarine, the tank, the missile and so on. The follow-up maintenance
costs almost approach three to twenty times of purchase expense.
Consequently, the users are force to strive for extra budget to maintain
systems
The Life Cycle Cost(LCC)Analytic method is a different decision-making
technology from conventional methods. The major characteristics
include(1)to minimize total cost it is necessary to considering the expense of
purchase and maintenance cost in evaluation phase;(2)in development phase
considering life cycle cost will facilitate efficient design of
product;(3)treating life cycle cost as a design argument to reckon permit cost;
expense is not a passive result when system or product meets predefined
design criterions, but a indicator of approved plan execution;(4)by sufficient
trade-off procedure to we can get the optimized improvement of project.
In this study, we discuss logistic issues of ship’s life cycle and investigate
the interrelationships among overall Integrated Logistics Support, Logistics
Support Analysis and life cycle cost analysis. Utilizing the concept of entire
life cycle we can reduce logistic support cost and increase availability of
system operation constrained by of limited resources. By life cycle cost
analysis technology, we can maximize the economic benefit during
determination of purchasing major system.
