碩士 / 國立高雄師範大學 / 視覺傳達設計研究所 / 94 / The concept of this series of poster design is based on the law of nature in
terms of environmental issues of ecology. The works take the theme of
depicting the problems of co-existence lied between mankind and the natural
world. The techniques applied in the works emphasize on visual impacts
derived from the applications of photo-realistic imageries created with 3D
computer graphic technology. There are two series of works in this poster
design collection. In the first series, titled in “Consequence”, the pieces
illustrate the dreadful consequences that mankind might face after damaging
the harmony in nature. The sarcastic imageries with astonishing visual impacts
reflect the prices that we all have to pay for the wrong doings that we have
done to mother nature. The second series, titled in “Reflection” indicates that
we shall awaken to reconsider the fact that the nature has been abused to her
unbalance. The black-and-white images integrated with distorted face features
in the designs are created to call on people’s awareness of the alarming issue
of our crying environment.
Along the path of creating design works, the author has strong sentiments
towards the worsening conditions of our environment. The visual style of these
works is a new attempt on integrating realities and illusions. With the visual
impact delivered by this series of works, the author hope that these posters will
be able to inspire people’s alertness to re-examine our interactivities with our
surroundings.
