A Research on Haydn’s《 Lord Nelson Mass》 / 海頓《尼爾遜彌撒曲》之研究

博士 / 國立臺南大學 / 音樂教育學系碩士班 / 94 / The propose of this dissertation will focus on the music of Haydn’s “Lord Nelson Mass”. The researcher can refer the concept of the theory, which could apply to modem music education. Besides the introduction, there are five parts in this dissertation. Chapter two introduces the history of Mass first and then discusses the development of the Classic period. Chapter three provides the information about Haydn’s history and his composition background to discuss the relation with the style of Haydn’s Mass works. Chapter four is divided “Lord Nelson Mass” into five parts: Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus and Agnus Dei. I focus this research on Haydn’s consummate talent in creating music by investigating the artistic techniques, the musical tonality, structure, and original feature, etc. Chapter five supplies a personal interpretation and a teaching suggestion of this work for reference in research and performance. In Final Chapter provides the writer’s conclusion from the study. Hopefully it can be a helpful diction reference for teachers and singers.
