The Effect of β-glucan and Sodium Alginate on Non-specific Immune Response of Spiny Lobster (Panulirus interruptus) / 葡聚多醣體與藻酸鈉對斷溝龍蝦非特異性免疫反應之影響

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 水產養殖學系 / 94 / Abstract

The purpose of this study is major to confer different immunostimulants’ application on spiny lobster (Pnulirus interruptus). And experimental design was administered to know the effect on non-specific immune parameters in a short term period (14 days).
Lobsters were sampled in order to examine the variance of Total haemocyte count (THC)、Phenoloxidase (PO)、Superoxide anion (O2-)、Superoxide dismutase (SOD) 、Total protein (TP)、phagocytic rate (PR), phagocytic index (PI).
Experiment I, different concentration (0、30、60、120μl/ml) of β-1,3;1,6-glucan injection were used. The result showed that the total haemocyte, Phenoloxidase activity and the O2- production ratio, superoxide dismutase and Phagocytotic rate were higher significantly (P<0.05) than the intact group at the day 1, day 2 and day 4.
Experiment II, different dietary doses (0, 1, 2, and 4 g/kg diets) of β-glucan and sodium alginate were used. The result showed that the O2- production ratio, superoxide dismutase and phagocytotic rate were increased significantly (P<0.05) of lobster fed with 1 to 2 g β-glucan kg-1 diet and 2 to 4 g of sodium alginate kg-1 diet.
Consequently, all those different kinds of immunostimulants were able to increase the immuno-indicator and clotting factors of spiny lobster (Pnulirus interruptus).
