Effects of Lactobacillus spp. and it’s Extracellular Products on the Inhibition of Vibrio alginolyticus and Photobacterium damselae subspecies piscicida / 乳酸菌與其細胞外產物對溶藻弧菌和巴斯德桿菌生長之影響

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 水產養殖學系 / 94 / The purpose of this study is determine the influence of three lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains and major extracellular products (ECPs) of LAB on the bacterial load of seawater and well diffusion, three experiments were carried out. In first experiments, LAB was culture in MRS broth and TSB medium. In MRS broth, growth rate was found highest in Lactobacillus brevis (BCRC 10361), follow by L. brevis (BCRC 12187), L. casei (BCRC 10697). In TSB, growth rate was found highest L. brevis (BCRC 12187), follow by L. casei (BCRC 10697), L. brevis (BCRC 10361).
In second experiments, the dominant bacterial species were identified as Vibrio alginolyticus and Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida. The treatment with Lactobacillus casei (BCRC 10697)、L. brevis (BCRC 10361、12187) at a density of 102、104、106 CFU/ml challenge with Vibrio alginolyticus and Photobacterium damselae subsp. Piscicida at 103 CFU/ml. For comparative purposes, V. alginolyticus strain isolated from diseased Haliotis diversicolo and Photobacterium damselae subsp. Piscicida isolated from Rachycentron canadum. All species were found effectively depressed the growth of Pathogen. A marked inhibit of V. alginolyticus was found in L. casei (BCRC 10697) and L. brevis (BCRC 10361). On the other hand, a marked inhibit of Photobacterium damselae subsp. Piscicida was found in L. brevis (BCRC 10361), only.
The third experiments in vitro antibacterial activity of extracellular products (ECPs) from LAB. A completely inhibit of V. alginolyticus strain isolated from diseased Haliotis diversicolor was found in L. brevis (BCRC 10361). On the other hand a completely inhibit of V. alginolyticus strain isolated from Rachycentron canadum was found in all LAB ECPs. Moreover, a completely inhibit of Photobacterium damselae subsp. Piscicida strain were found in L. brevis (BCRC 10361) and L. brevis (BCRC 12187).
