Studies on reproductive biology of the spiny lobster (Panulirus interraptus) / 斷溝龍蝦生殖生物學之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 水產養殖學系 / 94 / The purpose of this study is aimed to know the reproductive biology and supply with steroid hormone in treatment diets of the spiny lobster (Panulirus interraptus). The effects of ovigerous period, the ratio of ovigerous and the amount of spawn.
The results in exlperiment 1 showed that the carapace length of male in 9 - 14 (cm) is 89.26 %. The carapace length of female in 9 - 14 (cm) is 89.16 %.The body length of male in 26 - 28 (cm) is 53.68 %.the body length of male in 28 - 30 (cm) is 33.14 %.In the part of spermatophore - bearing ratio, the samples investigate during September 2004 to February 2005.The results showed that the ratio of spermatophore - bearing increase by month and the maximal in February. The percentages of spermatophore – bearing females compared to the totoal females is 63.51 %. The ratio of ovigerous also increase by month and the maximal in February. The percentages of ovigerous females compared to the totoal females is 13.68 %.
Divided spiny lobster (Panulirus interraptus) into three groups of body weight (group A:0.4 - 1 kg, group B:1 - 2 kg, group C:2 - 5 kg) in experiment 2. Feed with compound steroid hormone diet and control diet. The maximal ratio of ovigerous in control A and treatment C are 60 %.The ovigerous period shortest in treatment C is 28 days and the amount of spawn is the same.
