Design and Implementation of an Autonomous Visually Guided Blimp / 自主式視覺導引之小型飛行船設計與實現

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 電機工程學系 / 94 / The main theme of the thesis is to design an autonomous vision-based small-scale blimp which can search and approach the desired target without human’s operation. The blimp uses wireless camera to capture images and sends the image data to a PC. After extracting the essential control information, the PC issues motor commands via RF module to AT89C2051 which drives the DC motors via TA7291P chip. The image processing is programmed using Borland C++ Builder and the control firmware is achieved by 8051C. The testing environment on ground is first set up to verify the motor actions. Then the blimp is mounted and the true flying trajectories are analyzed which includes cases with targets on the ground and walls respectively.
