In order to gain the competition advantaged and reduce cost, automotive companies are focusing on international supply chain management. Concurrent design and engineering in the supply chain are vital to growing competitiveness of the Taiwan automotive industry.The concept of international supply chain management is to integrate overseas procurement all the way to the after sales services provide. The purpose is to reduce cost, response to customers needs more rapidly and gain the greatest competition advantage. The rapidly development of information technology has make the integration more feasible.This case study is taking automotive company “A” as an example. Through the case, we can understand how company “A” successfully implements the international supply chain management into their supply chain process. These process include SWOT analyze, set up target and evaluation. This case study can provide an example not only for other automotive companies but also other companies in different industries for implement international supply chain management.
