碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 機械工程系 / 94 / The paper analyzes the vibration of crankshaft system in main engine. Based on the design principles of the Magnetorheological Fluid (MRF) devices and the equation of motion in the crankshaft analysis, this study can simulate the vibration behavior for a crankshaft with MRF damper system. Since the damping coefficient of MRF damper can be changed and adjusted through magnetic field and by semi-active control method at the different rotational speed so that the crankshaft suppress the amplitude of resonance frequency.
Results of numerical simulation analysis present the vibration of the crankshaft at rotational speed of 1250 rpm . Comparing with the crankshaft with a traditional damper, the amplitude of the crankshaft equipped with MRF damper decreases 90.9%. Therefore the crankshaft equipped with MRF damper can greatly suppress the amplitude of resonance frequency.
