碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 材料及資源工程系所 / 94 / Ag-magadiite, a kind of nanoclay antimicrobial powder, is produced by magadiite adsorbing Ag+ ions. Likewise, Cu-magadiite, a kind of nanoclay anti-algae powder, is processed by adsorbing Cu2+. SEM, EDS, ICP have been used to characterized the products, and antimicrobial (E. coli, all kinds of bacteria and Legionella Pneumophilla) and anti-algae tests also have been carried out. The results of ICP analysis showed that 1 gram magadiite can adsorb about 1500~2000μg Ag+ ion or 2500~3000μg Cu2+ at room temperature and under atmosphere. One gram of Ag-magadiite show the ability of 100% antimicrobial to 8.1*107 CFU E. coli, 5.54*107 CFU Legionella Pneumophilla, and 1.8*107 CFU total count of bacteria. In anti-algae test, 1 gram Cu-magadiite is mixed with 5.5 million algae (diatoms) for 5mins, and which can yield NPDOC (non-purgable dissolved organic carbon) 6.94mg/L. The higher NPDOC value can be obtained meanwhile the longer mixing time reaches.
