Research on the Business Resource Allocation of Transportation Service Products through Process Analysis / 運用流程分析探討運輸服務商品之經營資源配置

碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 企業管理系碩士班 / 94 / In recent years, with the rapid changing of social structure, consumption patterns of customers have turned into multiple types, small quantity and "one stop shopping" instead of large quantity. In order to orientate this change, producers adjust the beltline’s production logic to the way of division among specialized departments. The logistics service industry, for instance, is one of the important results under the trend of specialized division. In the transportation industry, the result of the output is to offer customers transportation services and management of the storage. The transportation process will further have great influences on the quality of the service.
The current study probed into the management resource allocation of the transportation service products, and analyzed the merger conditions of the organization’s business resources in the view of the business process and resource basic theory. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to investigate the relations between process and resources. The participants were companies which had transferred their business from transportation service to logistics industry. The conclusions of the research are shown as the following:
1. In the plural transport services like less-than-truck-load trucking (LTL), logistics, home delivery, express delivery, etc., they have the same business process, ─assembly process, freight transportation and storage process and delivery process─ and basic resources, such as the station, personnel and vehicle. But the specific resources are the key factors which influence the service output difference. In other words, enterprises can throw it with different specific resources based on the already existing operation procedure, and then stretch out other innovative methods of service.
2. Enterprises build and construct common resources continuously while making the transition or deriving other services and the products, which will contributes to enterprise''s combining the department, or the resource-sharing tactics promotion.
3. Building and constructing IT resources will improve enterprise''s operation efficiency, the integration of organizing information flow as well as operation resources within all departments.
