碩士 / 元智大學 / 管理研究所 / 94 / Under the international operation of multinational corporations, as the viewpoint of the company’s management that is to make the most limited advantages to get the maximum profits. While encountering the pressure of easy approach on capital and technology, many corporations will focus to find internal integration for the purpose to maintain an external competitive benefits, among these the HRM systems will be the key factor of success. However, due to the difference of the culture background and economic progress with local environments those are most likely to influence the efficiency of the HRM, and how to get an excellent merits for the balance of HRM will be the keenly challenge of the global corporations on the way to success.
This research will take sample as to study the International Human Resource management of the Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. Since be privatized in 1996,Yang Ming has followed the policy of diversification and has gradually became an international conglomerate by extending its antenna to the fields of international logistics, wharf operations, inland transportation and holding companies. Its IHRM has some kinds of good characteristics.
The findings from this study are included as shown as following:
1.Yang Ming has a brilliant performance due to strengthen the strategy of good quality HRM.
2.Yang Ming provides many chances for the negotiation and training abroad to upgrade its staff becoming a professional manager.
3.Yang Ming job-alternation system will make its staff has good eyesight of global view.
4.An available travel for the family in abroad will make good harmony of the staff and cope with the benefits of Yang Ming.
5.Yang Ming will offer back-up systems for the world-wide subsidiary company for the IHRM.
