The Effect of Assertive Training on the Female Heroin Abusers’Inerpersonal Efficacy / 自我決斷訓練對女性海洛因濫用者人際關係效能之輔導成效

碩士 / 國立中正大學 / 犯罪防治所 / 95 / Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a twelve-session assertive training(AT)on the female heroin abusers’ interpersonal efficacy.
Methods:Of the 20 incarcerated female offenders were randomly divided into two ten-member groups, including the experimental group and the control group . The pretest- posttest-follow-up test equivalent-group design was adopted in this study. The experimental group received two-hour group AT session weekly for six weeks and the control group received no treatment. All subjects were administered by the inventories about the relationship scales, including conflist avoidance, dependecy and shyness. Subjects in experimental group, moreover, accepted individual interview after AT.
Results: No significant difference was found in the subjects’ interpersonal efficacy. After adjust the mean score of posttest, the experimental group is lower than the control group on dependecy and shyness. Subjects in experimental group expressed significant improvement in their interpersonal efficacy and interpersonal interaction after AT. They learned about communicative competence and expressed reflection fearless. The results of analyzing single subjects of the experimental group are as follow:(a)For the type of people with interpersonal relationship disturbance, TA can effectively improve the interpersonal efficacy including conflist avoidance, dependecy and shyness. (b)For the type of people who was lower self-awareness, we had to modify TA session. In the meantime, it had to accompany with improvement in their interpersonal behavior.
