新竹南港海岸之沙丘復育及其植物生長調查(2005/7~2007/6)

碩士 / 中華大學 / 土木與工程資訊學系碩士班 / 95 / Coast line of Taiwan is approximately 15,000 km with many sand dunes. Sand dune have functions for preventing coastal erosion, reducing wave energy, storaging fresh water, adjusting flood, preventing sea water seepage etc.. Sand hedges can fix dune’s sand. The vegetation cover can prevent flying storm. Sand hedges and vegetation cover are two most ecological and efficient method for artificial recovery of sand dune. The investigated site of this study is at Nan-Gang Coast in Hsinchu city. The area of longitudinal profile of three zones (zone I, zone II and zone III) of sand dunes divided by sand hedges and the cover area of six dominant plants in sand dune are investigated for two years.
The minimum area of longitudinal profile for zone I, zone II and zone III are 150m3/m , 292m3/m and 254m3/m , respectively. The decreasing of volume of sand dune is corroded mainly by typhoon. However, the sand dune increases gradually in northeast monsoon (from October to next March) because of the existence of sand hedge. On the other hand, the ranges of cover areas for (a) Pandanus odoratissimus L. f. var. sinensis (Warb.) Kanehira, (b) Clerodendron inerme (L.) Gaertn, (c) Ipomoea pes-caprae (L.)Sweet subsp. brasiliensis (L.) Oostst, (d) Spinifex littoreus (Burm. f.) Merr and (e) Vitex rotundifolia L. f. are 14.9m2 ~29.8m2 , 6.4m2 ~24.7m2 , 18.8m2 ~70.9m2 , 2.5m2 ~16.6m2 and 81.7m2 ~246.0m2 , respectively. Hence, it is found that the dominant plants of (b), (c) and (e) have wide cover area comparatively. So they are suitable for prevent flying storm.
