碩士 / 中華大學 / 營建管理研究所 / 95 / This research will aim at Taipei city's sewage system, through analyzing real cases happened in the before, to explore the capability of Taipei city's sewage system in handling the overwhelming rain water within very short period under the weather of torrential rains and the casualty hereby caused by the above scenarios.
Having studied and analyzed the existing cases, this thesis will provide different design options in reducing or minimizing the said damages. Furthermore, through the comparison of construction costs and simulation of SewerCAD software applied in these cases, we can come out with the best solution. According to the finding of this research, the method of combining connective tube with dam standing together with pumping station's emergent water release system as well as activating emergent water diversion mechanism step by step can effectively reduce the damage caused by torrential rains to the minimum level.
