As far as I know, Taiwan accompanies the trend of urban development and the changes of industrial structure in recent years. It makes the urban districts or the past downtowns confront an extremely tight squeeze in the space, the regional service that is insufficient or in a clapped-out predicament. Both of them result in the competitiveness of the urban development that is getting degenerate and the commercial strength that runs off and the investment decreasing; the quality of the environment is gradually low as well.
First of all, Urban Revolution adopts a thoroughly regeneration including that the government cooperates with the denationalized institution to invigorate the cities , create a permanent action in economics, accomplish the economics, the society, the culture, and material condition is a long –term process in progress step by step. When the public art is used to revolute the urban as a regional revived or one of the strategies in redevelopment work, it plays the role in orientation, function, help and advantage it brings. The question that we discuss in the text is how we make it become a good tool of urban revolution during the progress.
In the similar way, we take “Brave New World- the project of beautify street with artistry in Haian Rd.”that is in Taiana city for study; the shopkeepers are interviewed by beautifying the street, planning and developing the ideas, inspecting bibliography of the progress for administering, investigating the situation, executing to public and personal department or participant and local residents. We research that the public art plays the role of the redevelopment in urban space strategy and what influence it brings to the local and we also find that it carries out the practical problems we meet in the public art.
Other than giving artworks for beautification on ambiance and frame characteristic of a city, cities needs to get the significant identify from people. Public arts can be able to aware and connect neighborhoods with the community, in order to have real benefit function continually. Therefore, this is a very important process. Whether public art can help redevelopment city to create economy activities continually, and also help economy, society, and society to reach rehabilitation is a new issues. This research found using public art can help to connect the rehabilitation city with property developments. Face to the change of the global economy. The property of culture creation is a trend in the future. Combined the culture creation and the pubic arts may create a new economy. Also it gives a stage for the public arts in the redevelopment city.
