Painting creation is a happy but serious personality-training lesson, and the painting style is the expression of personality. Creation by a most sincere heart expresses in a considerate and natural way the idea which has been developed inside the spirit for a long time. The philosophy of the author’s painting creation is open-minded and out-going without focusing the details to reach a level of unknowing who I am as well as to present the variability of the art styles, and to look for as weel as to establish the direction of personal art creation.
This creation study’s content is “the picture of the love for fishing village in motherland” coming from the unforgotten memory. It used the methods of style study and literature analysis and tried to create idea from analyzing and combining the colors and painting structures of Fauvism and Cubism in the modern art history, and to acquire inspiration from the mood expression and interior thought of the mind in Symbolism and Expressionism. It is expected to become my creation idea and expression method to present the real picture in the inside world. Then, using the material of “the picture of the love for fishing village in motherland”, it explored the style of expression in the mind in a conscious way by combining the above-mentioned creation idea and expression method with life experience, and discovered the basic attitude of personal creation.
The structures of this study consist of four parts: 1) the theories of creation 2) the contents and styles of creation 3) the pictures of the love for fishing village in motherland 4) work analysis and interpretation. The material was a series of works of “the picture of the love for fishing village in motherland” between 2005 and 2007. It explored the personal inside world by creating practice and theory analysis, it identified and constructed a piece of valuable memory in personal life by creating expression, and it though of the possibility of future development of creation.
