A Study of China Attract FDI in Economic Globalization-take Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan for example / 經濟全球化下中國吸收外資之研究-以海外華人地區(港澳台)為例

碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 國際政治研究所 / 95 / In 1980s, the Asia’s Four Tigers adopted the exported-led policy and enlightened the economic miracle in Asia. In the other side, the PRC had been experienced in an entire period of maladjustment because of a serious of disturbances domestically which affected people’s living in a tremendous distress. After an observation on Asia economic miracle, the PRC decided to open her market which attracted FDI actively to promote development. Besides policy supports to encourage FDI flowed into China, the PRC also established Special Economic Zone at the same time, which is a favorable policy for the foreign investors. Nowadays, FDI from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan were the majority of sources for the investments in China. The purpose of the current study is to investigate the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan investments in what kinds of industry fields and regions in China, and also to survey how depth of influence they effect the economic growth and society structure changes. To the end, this study is also providing some conclusion and suggestions to the readers.
