碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 交通管理學系碩博士班 / 95 / The objective of this study is to examine the relationships between corporate social responsibility, corporate image and organizational performance in Taiwanese liner shipping industry. Three types of corporate social responsibility are identified from the result of a factor analysis. These factors are named as community involvement, business commitment and disclosure. Corporate image was categorized into intangible image and tangible image. With respect to organizational performance, both financial performance and non-financial performance are used as independent variables in this study. The findings of this study are as followed: (1) Corporate social responsibility has a significant positive influence on corporate image; (2) Corporate social responsibility also has a significant positive influence on organizational performance; (3) Corporate image positively effects organizational performance.
