碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 系統及船舶機電工程學系碩博士班 / 95 / The yacht lifecycle can be divided into several stages including inquiry, equipment acquirement, order, design, drawing, quote, contract signing, production, delivery and service etc.. In the past, all design and manufacturing data about the yacht are distributed over each department, making the data not easy to search and use. All data have their own format and can’t be shared and used by each other. We hope to integrate data exchange format and to solve these problem by completing the product lifecycle management.
In this research, we develop an XML-based (eXtensible Markup Language) electronic construction document management system to fulfill the need of current requirements by ASP language. XML describes data in a well-defined structure format so that it is suitable for knowledge exchange in heterogeneous systems. To solve the problem of ambiguous vocabulary definition in an enterprise, ontology technology is embedded in our XML based construction process. It represents relationship and property of several important organization concepts so that the accuracy of searching result in the process can be dramatically increased. Meanwhile, the knowledge can be shared in a more secure way. Besides, integrate ontology with processes, by solving the problem of the differentia of vocabulary between departments, the data in documents can be identified and reused. To search the knowledge is more correctly, conveniently and quickly, if the vocabulary of document define definitely.
In this research, we create an electronic construction document to express the documents for different stage of the yacht lifecycle. The electronic construction document which integrates the design information and manages the knowledge and experience make data can be reused. The electronic construction document management system of XML, which expedites the communication between knowledge and information, can make the shipbuilding knowledge to be managed and shared efficiently. Therefore, the shipbuilding workers would acquire the necessary information efficiently, and shorten the period of decision-making. This advantage can improve the ability to get benefit, and keep the niche.
