A Study of Locational Decisions for Eenterprises Entering Mainland China’s Pan-Bohai Economic Region / 中國大陸環渤海經濟圈企業選址佈點之研究

碩士 / 國立東華大學 / 企業管理學系 / 95 / By opening its market since the1978 economic reform, and through gradual deregulation of the laws and regulations, Mainland China have been embarking on the globalization train, having a high economic growth and then expanding interior demand. In China’s newest national development strategy, “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”, the government will expand the domestic demand market to support next economic growth and shift their focus to Pan-Bohai economic region.
Therefore this thesis takes on the view of Taiwan’s enterprises, in studying the issues of them entering Mainland China’s Pan-Bohai economic region to set up facility via a three echelon location selection and design network. In addition, for Taiwan’s enterprises, which mainly compose of small- and medium-sized enterprises, it is often costly and time-consuming for them to collect related economical and geographical information, and they generally lack in-depth analytical tools to help them make these decisions.Taking this into consideration, this thesis adopts Pan-Bohai economic region’s relevant actual data, applying mix integer programming model and analytic hierarchy process as decision-making tools, and establishing a decision-making procedure, to provide future Taiwan’s enterprises’ policy-makers aids for making investment options in this region. The approach also affords a balanced decision model with subjective and objective factors that will have an influence on executing the location selection and network design decisions, and provides a procedure for quality and efficienct decision-making.
