碩士 / 國立東華大學 / 高階經營管理碩士在職專班 / 95 / The thesis discusses a decision-aid framework of freight forwarders choosing of their foreign entry strategies based on industry conditions, such as market share, invest cost, customer satisfaction, and risk evaluation. This research employs the method of AHP to analyze how selections on bias FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) entry mode. An analytic hierarchy process (AHP) approach that can be used either for the analysis and comparison of the quality of several strategies or for the evaluation of alternate plans in FDI entry mode is presented. We sent questionnaires to 70 persons who are the chief, superintendent, or director of Taiwanese freight forwarders. According to the results of research, the entry mode of sole-own is the best strategy. The reason we found is the responders agreed putting more weights on factors of revenue growth rate and the customer service level which being a sole-owner is easier to control and administer the resources to satisfy these two factors than other entry strategies: joint venture and contract.
