碩士 / 國立屏東科技大學 / 工業管理系所 / 95 / Deep Sea Water (DSW) composes of many useful characters as materials for the use of industrial, agricultural, leisure, commercial, and so on, it has become one of governmental developing program in Taiwan. Unlike other traditional industry development, DSW is the unique material and must take into account of the concept of multi-stage and multi-objective implementation to increase its effectiveness, which make it complicate in industry planning. Under conditions of pipeline systems, capital budget, rental rates, development schedule, and relevant quantity, this work formulates an optimal model to analyze cost-effectiveness of investment feasibilities with water objective on a long-term perspective. Factors considered in the formulated model are schemes for periodic/phase, time value for capital, cost disbursements for facility and maintenance inputs, and variable factors with their variation. To make the methodology more practical, a basic test with various designed scenarios are analyzed to reveal the option transactions in system alternatives with pipeline construction schemes. The results obtained herein provide governmental planners, investment firms, and relevant economic analyzers with further insight into the systematic analysis and potentials for the cost effectiveness in realistic applications.
