Effects of dietary Lycium barbarum L. on the growth and two immune responses of cobia (Rachycentron canadum) / 飼料中添加枸杞對海鱺成長及兩種免疫反應的影響

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 水產養殖學系 / 95 / Two separate experiments were conducted to determine the effects of dietary levels of Lycium barbarum L. on the growth 、 non-specific immune response and haematological characteristics of cobia (Rachycentron canadum). Five isoenergetic and isonitrongeneous semipurified diets with L. barbarum L. levels ranging from 0 to 20g/kg in 5g/kg increments were evaluated in the first experiment. Initial weight of 6.07±0.17g cobia was fed three times a day to satiation. After 6 weeks experiment, the weight gain of cobia receiving the treatment diets were not significant differences. In second experiment, five isoenergetic and isonitrongeneous semipurified diets with water-extracted L. barbarum L. levels ranging from 0 to 1.6g/kg in 0.4g/kg increments were evaluated. Initial weight of 11.78±0.21g cobia was fed three times a day to satiation. After 4 weeks experiment period, the weight gain of cobia receiving the treatment diets were not significant differences. In non-specific immune response of cobia, fish fed diet containing water-extracted 1.6g/kg L. barbarum L. had the highest superoxide anion (O2ˉ) production rate than the other treatment, but the level of superoxide dismutase (SOD) was not significant different. In haematological characteristics of cobia, serum glucose and cholesterol were not significant differences among treatments, but fish fed diets containing water-extracted 0.4g/kg L. barbarum L. had lower serum tricylglycerol than those fed control diet.
