The Research of The Installation Styles of Household Connections-pipes / 污水下水道用戶接管模式比較之研究

In order to promote sewers construction in Taiwan, Taiwan government is going to increase the Household Connections Prevalence rate from 11.5% in 2003 to 22.1% in 2008, and also to increase the Total Wastewater Treatment rate from 22.8% in 2003 to 32.0% in 2008.

This study is aimed to evaluate advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, and impacts of 3 Building Connection models which are the Traditional Building Connection model (model A), the Japanese Multiple-functional Building Connection model (model B), and Shinjuan Combined Building Connection model (model C). In addition, the study compares costs, hydraulic analysis, functions, maintenances, equipment lives, and working spaces of these 3 models. The result can be a reference for the local governments implementing Household connection works.
