碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 航運管理學系 / 95 / In recent year, the Ocean Freight Forwarders in Taiwan, processes the significant position. With the change of age, how the employees show their willing to perform, and that is conducive to the performance of organization. This has become one of the most important issues for organization. If enterprises can understand the employees’ motivation and guide them, then the enterprises can get their expectation and respect as well as improving the performance of organization from the employees.
Hence researcher proceeds the research of the influence of Work Values and Organizational Commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Ocean Freight Forwarders. In this study, work values is used as the independent variables, organizational commitment is used as the intervening variable, and organizational citizenship behavior is the dependent variable. The purpose of this research is mainly to find out the relationship and the difference among work values, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Research method is questionnaire research. In total of 330 questionnaires were distributed and 95 successful copies returned, that is 28.8% of return-in rate. The returned questionnaires were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis.
The result of this research indicates that:
1. When the ocean freight forwarder’s staff to work in the values intrinsic value and the social value is higher, may the effective enhancement organization commitment.
2. When the ocean freight forwarders have organizational commitment, organizes in the citizen behavior the approval organization, to make a clear demarcation between public and private interests, professional to obey the law and the self- enrichment also can be higher.
3. When the ocean freight forwarder’s staff high contracts whole of work values, staff's organizational citizenship behavior also can be higher.
4. In the influence of work values versus organizational citizenship behavior, the intermediary effect of organizational commitment is fignificant.
To sum up, a significant positive correlation was identified among work values, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior. In other words, organization that were enable to promote Work values and increasing employees’ organizational commitment, the workers displayed organizational citizenship behavior to advance the performance of organization, in order to maintain enterprise’s continuous competitive advantages.
