The analysis of competitiveness and strategy for grouper industry in Taiwan / 臺灣石斑魚產業競爭力與策略之分析

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 95 / After Taiwan joined WTO, the import fish customs duty was greatly reduced. This created a large amount of domestically cultivated fish. However Taiwan has had more than hundred years of history in fishery cultivation. Grouper has more than 20 years cultivation history in emerging cultivation fingerlings. It greatly raises the technology to achieve complete breeds from the production of roe, the fry breeds, to the juvenile fish length, and adult fish, and again spawns growing seedlings. The entire grouper life history and the multiplicative process may all be achieved under the artificial cultivation environmental condition. This may bring the new turning point for Taiwan's aquaculture industry.
This article investigates the lithosporic cultivation industry including the investigation of and the improvement of the present opinion of this industrial situation. The planned grouper facing the globalization competition strategy investigates the wishes of the cultivation industry and coordinates with it in order to carry on the analysis. The research object mainly for the grouper cultivation industry, and the choice take grouper and so on in Bingdong, Gaoxiong, and Tainan breeds the region as the research scope.
Finally by five strength analyses, the SWOT strategy analysis carries on the competitive ability analysis (Michael E. Porter) to compete the game theory by the baud to contain the different cost superiority strategy, the difference strategy and the centralized strategy, takes three basic strategies to ponder.

Finally, this puts forward five proposals to this research analysis resulting in:
1. The promotion fry survival percentage reduces cost
2. Establishment aquatic product veterinarian and realization aquaculture technician system
3. The promotion plantation quantity reported to a higher authority that, avoids the production and marketing being unbalanced
4. The impetus aquaculture production and marketing personal history information system that the promotion cultivation aquatic product is safe
5. The development cultivation aquatic product export market taken will be connected in future studies and the policy draws up the reference.
