The Research on the Inclination of Taiwan College Students to serve in the Cross-Strait Military Conflict. / 大學生參與臺海兩岸軍事衝突戰鬥意願之研究

碩士 / 淡江大學 / 中國大陸研究所碩士在職專班 / 95 / The purpose of this research is to exam the inclination of Taiwan college students to serve for fight with enemy when they face the cross-strait military conflict. The methods we adopt include text analysis method and questionnaire survey with 1,053,428 college students from Taiwan 146 universities. To gain more precise computation, the questionnaire survey in this research uses five main variables about “National Identity”, “China’s Anti-Secession Law”, “Taiwan’s Military Service System”, “National Defense General Education in College” and “War Scenario” to know the students viewpoint from different background and area. Finally, we could find conclusion rely on the chi-square equation, independent sample t-test and description statistics after collecting all the files and research findings:
1. The questionnaire object of this research: 21.6% of students are from the college of engineering, 31.2% are sophomore students, 57.3% have no political affiliation, 79.8% have optional military course experiences in campus, 78.4% male and 21.6% female, 46.98% live in the northern area of Taiwan.
2. The investigation on the inclination of college students to serve for fight and what their opinion about present cross-relation is.
3. An explanation to the difference of this research and the viewpoint of the mass.
