碩士 / 元智大學 / 資訊管理學系 / 95 / Global logistics will be one of management strategies for an enterprise while suffering dramatically changes in market globalization, operation process information and product life circle reduction. It will not only overcome the issue from the geographic restrictions, but also provide an advantage for an enterprise fully complying with the industry supply chains. In addition, it will integrate the information technology and system supports to achieve a parallel connection from cash flow, information flow to business logistics. Actually, many logistics industries have being utilizing the information outsourcing to get connection from manufacturing, wholesaling to retailing. However, it’s still hard for them to come out an appropriated management strategy demonstrated on electronlization.
Therefore, we conduct a case study for one particular company and point out the following study missions:
1. After the enterprise decided to adopt Global Logistics, we will study how does the enterprise use information outsourcing to accomplish electronlization? What’s the
impact of the accomplishment for the enterprise themselves?
2. What are the comparisons of before and after the enterprise to accomplish electronlization?
3. Whether or not the operational performance will be improved after the enterprise accomplished electronlization?
This is an exploratory study designed by the phenomenon of the enterprise which expects to achieve the goal of Global Logistics. We study if the enterprise works through the platform of the electronlization – Business Process Management, BPM, by outsourcing, will the working process and operational performance be improved? We pointed out night propositions. Based on the enterprise we studied, we found out through outsourcing to accomplish e-Global Logistics will not only assist the enterprise to solve the problems while applying information technology, but also achieve BU vehicle import logistics and the successful working processes on auto component export packing and dispatching container. The most important result is that Global logistic can enhance the operational performance.
