On the Benefit of Rehabilitation for Seismic-damaged , Low- Level Steel Structure-taking the Flagship Shop of Lexus in Dali City as an Example / 低層鋼結構建物震後補強之效益探討-以Lexus大里旗艦店為例

碩士 / 逢甲大學 / 土木工程所 / 96 / Steel structure in its life cycle will be affected by natural disaster such as earthquake, fire or anthropogenic source at construction site nearby, or weak quality of construction management. The building’s capacity of anti-seismic-damaged will be decaying due to beam, column, and floor slab damaged from earthquake. However, the rehabilitation of structure is one of the good way to recover the stiffness or make its stronger.
The research on the flagship shop of LEXUS of Central Motors is about rehabilitation for seismic-damaged, uncorrected welding position of welding, and having discussion on the benefit of rehabilitation. The object is a three level steel structure. After the rehabilitation, we use “MIDAS” computer program to simulate the real behavior of structure and take the norm of construction and planning agency ministry of the interior, FEMA273, and ATC-40 in account. The procedures for the first analysis is static analysis, and then is dynamic analysis(time-history analysis). Finally, we use the push-over analysis method to conform the benefit of rehabilitation for this seismic-damaged, low-level steel structure. It is found that the rehabilitated structure is unable to resist earthquake in the Y direction. Therefore, detailed reinforcements have also been made in order to assure the safety of the structure.
