The most influence factor to these Taiwan DSC manufacture company is order acquiring from these world wilde brand DSC company, especially the order from Japan. This factor will be a key point to Taiwan DSC industry can grow or not in the future.
When DSC industry is getting into mature period and selling price is getting down,Japan DSC brand company have a lot of pressure from manufacture cost reduction. Japan DSC company have to out souring from the marketing and this trend is necessary. In Taiwan DSC industry, it’s getting re-ranking after Foxconn merged Premier and ASUS get in Ability, the OEM/ODM manufacture scale is giant gradually.
However, DSC industry already in the mature period, but after that, what kind situation will be? All OEM/ODM manufacture should keep enlarging production scale? Keep reducing production cost? Start to merge? Or should create company core competence?
The thesis is trying to understand the influence to DSC industry structure from the industry angle when mergence happened. According to five force analysis from Porter, we can understand the structure of DSC industry, and we can compare with the competitive strategy of Foxconn and ASUS, then we can analysis the changes of DSC industry.
