The Performance Evaluation of Battle-Battalion of Marine Corps / 海軍陸戰隊戰鬥營之績效評估

碩士 / 義守大學 / 管理研究所碩士班 / 96 / The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a structured technique for helping people deal with complex decisions. Thomas L. Saaty is the primary theoretician of the Analytic Hierarchy Processan when he taught at the University of Pittsburgh in 1971. Since it was introduced to the world, it has been liked and applied by the researchers and scholars worldwide. Though the Analytic Hierarchy Process is an excellent research technique, there are still some blind spots. This research focuses on the advantages of the framework of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for structuring a problem. Moreover, we use the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to assist in the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Furthermore, we use the mode of Expert Common Weight to make limitations in Subjective Face. The Performance Evaluation of the existing approaches is mostly for Single Assessment and pays more attention to the Financial Dimension, which leads to the constraints and some inadequacies. Therefore, this research has made the Customer, Internal Process, and Learning and Development Dimensions of the Balanced Score Card (BSC) as the basis of indicators. Then, an integrated Performance Evaluation is built to verify the subjective and objective faces of the Marines Performance Evaluation. The analytic and verified results of the integrated Performance Evaluation in this research are expected to be references for each unit’s performance improvement in the future.
