碩士 / 開南大學 / 空運管理學系 / 96 / Cabin Safety is a link in the chain of flight safety, and even one of the links in the chain of mistakes which affects flight safety as well. It involves quite a comprehensive scope, and each link has its own independent character. Thus this study looks into the cabin safety related risk factors by compiling the already completed or being performed cabin safety researches conducted by some domestic/international organizations and scholars. It uses 5M model as the sorting basis, establishes the risk factors chart of cabin safety, together with a questionnaire to understand the perceptional degrees of the related personnel.
Verified by using the sub-model of Structural Equation Modeling－Second-order confirmatory factor analysis(CFA), the chart in this study holds a great construct validity. According to the results of empirical analysis, among the risk factor categories of cabin safety, “operation factor” best reflects the latent risk of cabin safety, and followed by ”software/hardware design factor”, “management factor”, “crew member factor” and “internal/external threat factor”. It reveals that the associated laws and regulations established by the government authorities highly influences the aviation industry on the establishment of various operations and procedures. And then affects the daily operations of the related personnel. Finally, it provides suggestions on the basis of analysis results, allowing the authorities and aviation industry to improve cabin safety accordingly. It suggests that the aviation industry should: revise great standard operating procedure (SOP), value safety education/training and cultivate positive safety culture, perform correct risk control and establish fair rewards/penalties systems and non-penal policy. The crew members should strengthen the skills of crew resource management (CRM) and advance teamwork in order to reduce the occurrence of negligence.
