碩士 / 龍華科技大學 / 電子工程研究所 / 96 / The application of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is increasing, because it can improve the efficiency of various procedures of daily life. Therefore, RFID technology can be regarded as an indispensable industry. This thesis divides into two parts, in the first part we utilize passive tag as introduction guide for systematic media at short distance. In the second part we utilize the active tag as the guiding component of navigation system that can be used in indoor personnel and objects positioning, which will help confirming the personnel and objects' position in short time.
This thesis integrate the Personal digital assistant(PDA), Radio Frequency Identification(RFID), passive tag, program and database to constitute the whole navigation system. The use of filtered Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) to estimate the positions of active tag is also investigated. The two parts of researches can be integrated to provide the intact services of RFID as navigation and positioning system.
