碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 工學院工程管理專班 / 96 / The functions of the sewage sewer, including maintains living environments,improving river water qualities, perfecting metropolis development, and promoting population’s health, have become the measurement indicates for a modernization city. The sewage system is the important public infrastructure actively implemented by the central government now, since it can furthermore improve our environmental quality and promote the nation’s competitiveness.
The percentage of population served by sewerage system is recognized as one of the indices to measure the level of the modernization and the competitive advantage of a country. Rate of sewage sewer progress in Taiwan is extremely backwardness. Reasons include the difficulties of land obtains, and over builds without license.
The household pipe-connection defined as the work connecting the facilities of user to the public sewerage system is always the last stage and crucial for the function of entire sewerage system. This study collects the information from household connection-pipe cases which are in designing or under construction.This study is aimed to evaluate advantages and disadvantagesand impacts of Building Connection models which are Taipei City government, Kaoshiung City government and Japanese Building Connection model. The result can be a reference for the local governments implementing Household connection works.
