Conventionally, Wet Scrubber is utilized in cement plants and thermal power plants for the removal of dust, but demand for the removal of multiple air pollutants as well,has been increased recently.
From the integrated control’s point of view, Wet Scrubbing wastewater also contains pollutants derived from the air emission. Hence, the treatment of scrubbing wastewater to meet the effluent standards is crucial in the protection of marine environment. In this paper, the application of Wet Scrubbing method in the control of Exhaust of Marine Engine is focused; the efficiency of ion exchange resin in the removal of wastewater pollutants is also investigated and discussed.
