Teaching Research of Native Environment Art ─
Take Slabstone Bak Gung in the Donghai Area, Jhubei City as an example
This research explores the teaching of the native environmental art for the sixth grade primary school by Action Research, and incorporates artistic teaching with the native environment in the Donghai area of Hsinchu county, in the hope of improving the ability of the researched object to care about the native humanity and to recognize the environment.
The purpose of this research is as follows:
(A) Explore the teaching idea and the characteristic of the native environmental art by taking the “Slabstone Bak Gung” as the theme.
(B) Explore the course design and the implementation method of the native environmental art by taking the “Slabstone Bak Gung”as the theme.
(C) Explore the curriculum of the native environmental art by taking the “Slabstone Bak Gung” as the theme.As the feasibility in teaching, in order to be regarded as the reference for the teaching course “Art and Humanity” of primary school, provide the suggestion of studying according to the research.
This research adopts documents analysis, resource investigation and action research to progress the teaching integration by taking the “Slabstone Bak Gung”as the theme. The course feature is the concept of the combination of native art and environmental education. After actually teaching is implemented, revise the teaching design according to what students had learned, students’ performance list, and moreover, gathering together the suggestion that whole observers and counselor offer, and the author's teaching deliberation.
The conclusion of this research is as follows:
(A) Explore the teaching idea and the characteristic of the native environmental art by taking the “Slabstone Bak Gung” as the theme.
(1) Emphasis on the students.
(2) Variant artistic and challenging creative experience
(3) With strong characteristic about Donghai area.
(4) Combination of the native art and the environmental education
(5) Corresponding to the principle of the teaching integration.
(B) Explore the course design and the implementation method of the native environmental art by taking the “Slabstone Bak Gung” as the theme.
This research is completed by Action Research. And it makes the courses feasible with continuous analysis, evaluation and revise. Here is the methodology to realize :
(1) Induce the disappearing historical relic with the crisis of environmental changes .
(2) Integrate the resource that can be utilized locally.
(3) Integrate the suitable course materials, and then design the topic relevant to the theme.
(4) Draw up the course target and writes the teaching plan.
(5) Implement the teaching activity.
(6) Issue the achievement.
(7) Realize pluralism comments.
(8) Examine the teaching and revise the course.
(C) Explore the curriculum of the native environmental art by taking the “Slabstone Bak Gung” as the theme.As the feasibility in teaching, in order to be regarded as the reference for the teaching course “Art and Humanity” of primary school,provide the suggestion of studying according to the research.
(1) Students' gains of study and achievement of studying reach the anticipated result. Reveal the feasibility of course.
(2) According to the feedback from the observers, the teaching content and design, teaching activity, teacher-student relationship, teaching performance all obtain great grades. By consecutively investigating and revising this research with teaching conception and realization, “native environment article teaching” is a feasible course.
To summarize, provide the suggestion according to the research result to course designers, schoolteachers, school administrations, community, and future studying individually.
