Comparison on Motion-Similarity Between Stewart Platform and High Speed Craft / 史都華平台模擬高速小艇運動之相似度

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 輪機工程研究所 / 95 / This research is to evaluate the similarity of the motion of high speed crafts on the sea and the motion simulated by a high speed Stewart platform. The motion of the high speed craft is measured by a 6-degree-of-freedom accelerator. The Stewart platform is controlled by a PID controller. The controlling parameters of the PID controller are determined by using the Particle Swarm Optimization method. Two boats are used to run 15 different speeds in the Kaohsiung harbor areas. The results show a close and high consistency between the motion of real high speed crafts and that of the Stewart platform.
These results imply that the high speed Stewart platform can be used to simulated the dynamic loading of the craft when moving on the sea, and the platform can be used as a test-bed to evaluate if any equipment structure (such as a driver seat) to be installed on the craft can undertake the dynamic loading of the craft.
