Modeling and Performance Study of Yacht Electric Propulsion Systems / 遊艇電力推進系統模型建構與效能分析

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 輪機工程研究所 / 96 / To promote the technology and value of yacht industry, electric propulsion systems can be used in a new generation of yacht. The yacht electric propulsion system includes power generation control system, propulsion motor drive system, and electrical load distribution system that can be integrated via an integrated power system (IPS) to increase the utilization and reliability of the power system. Since the propulsion motor is a dynamic load, its power consumption changes when the yacht navigation mission and situation vary and has about 60%~80% of the whole shipboard power demand, which significantly affect the system operation. To ensure operating performance of the yacht electric propulsion system under different navigation situations, a dynamic simulation technique is used in this thesis to build the yacht IPS and develop dynamic models of main electric propulsion devices. Then the power system operation is simulated according to yacht practical navigation situations and its performance is studied. Test results of a practical yacht with 6110 kW of generation capacity and two 2200 kW propulsion motors are reported. With the proposed dynamic simulation models, the power system operation of a yacht with the electric propulsion system can be thoroughly displayed and the propulsion motor starting current and power signal distortion can be improved for enhancing supply quality.
