A Study of the Curriculum Design and its Experimental Effects for Marine Education Program on Fourth-Graders / 海洋教育課程方案設計及其實施成效之研究

博士 / 國立高雄師範大學 / 教育學系 / 96 / The main purpose of this study was to investigate the immediate and delay effects of different types of Marine Education Program and Marine Education Program Blog on promoting elementary students’ marine cognition performance, learning interest, flow experience, marine biodiversity conservation and knowledge sharing. The subjects in this study were 135 students in four fourth-grade classes of elementary school in Tainan City. The subjects, by two class unit, were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. Each group was treated by different experimental program as assigned. And, subjects were given post-test and post-delay-test after program. The results were summarized as follows:
1. Marine Education Program significantly promotes experimental group subjects’ marine cognition performance, learning interest , flow experience and marine biodiversity conservation.
2. Marine Education Program Blog significantly promotes experimental group subjects’ flow experience and knowledge sharing.
3. Marine Education Program Blog significantly promotes the experimental subjects’ marine biodiversity conservation both on immediate and delay effects.
4. Subjects in control group don’t show any significant changes on their marine cognition performance, learning interest, flow experience, marine biodiversity conservation and knowledge sharing.
Based on the results of this study, implications for teaching and further research were addressed.
