Application of Fuzzy Classification on the Structure of Water Mass and Characteristics of Zooplankton Distribution in I-LAN Bay / 模糊劃分應用於宜蘭灣海域水團結構與浮游動物分布特性之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 96 / The studies focused on the structure of water mass and distribution characteristics of zooplankton in I-LAN Bay. Four cruises (Cr. 1278, Cr. 1297, Cr. 1306 and Cr. 1320) of net sampling with CTD observation and hydro-acoustic investigation were conducted from Ocean Research No. 2 during 2005. The water mass types and biomass structure among seasons were analyzed by using fuzzy classification methods, and applying cross-classification analysis to study the relationships between different water mass types and biomass distribution.
The results of fuzzy classification, the hydro data could be classified 4, 3, 4 and 4 different water mass types during seasons at the depth of horizontal 10m, and the clustering centers and ranges of each water mass types could be defined as Kuroshio water types (K), Mixed 1 water types (M1), Mixed 2 water types (M2) and Coastal water types (C) separately. It had different characteristics during different seasons.
Additionally, the results of fuzzy classification on biomass (Sv) at the depth of surface to 40m revealed 4, 3, 4 and 4 different biomass partition groups among seasons, which could be defined I, II, III, IV and V biomass partition groups. The biomass distribution density of I partition groups were the highest, which the clustering center of average Sv was -59.04 dB (Sv greater than -61.86 dB). The lowest biomass distribution density were IV partition groups, which the clustering center of average Sv was -72.40 dB (Sv smaller than -69.76 dB). From the results of correlation analysis between water mass types and biomass partition groups, both revealed positive relationships.
