船艦訊跡匿蹤之研究

碩士 / 國防大學理工學院 / 造船及海洋工程碩士班 / 97 / Surface battleship plays an important role in the military operation, especially surface battleship acts as a control and management platform in a joint operation scenario. However, because the accuracy of radar guided attack missile is improving; the radar cross section (RCS) of current surface battleship is getting more vulnerable. Therefore, many countries around the world use stealth technology to reduce RCS value detectable by radar.
This thesis divides into two parts. The first part of this thesis investigates RCS value reflected by the shape of a surface battleship. A neural network (NNet) technique is used to predict radar detect ability by treating various battleship RCS values as the inputs to the NNet. We also study how RCS value can effect radar detect accuracy by changing the side wall angle of battleship superstructure. The second part of this work studies the effect of cabin size due to change of side wall angle using fuzzy theory. In summary, the results of this study not only emphasis on the effectiveness of battleship stealth technology but also consider its effect to the cabin size. So it can provide the reference of the preliminary shape design of battleship.
