新竹南港海岸之沙丘變遷及其植物生長調查(2005/7~2008/8)

碩士 / 中華大學 / 土木與工程資訊學系(所) / 97 / If the coast eroded, people’s living quality will be affected, and sand dunes is a natural barrier for the protection of the coast. In this study, a long term investigation has been done on, for example, the cross-sectional area of sand dunes, the climate condition and the plant growth condition of the Nan-Gang Coast in Hsinchu. The study mainly contains two parts of “collection and summarization of weather and environmental data” and “on-site measurement of cross-sectional height and plant area of sand dunes”; meanwhile, an attempt of description is tried in terms of climate and human factor. For the measurement of plant area, total station Electronic Distance Meter is adopted; for the measurement of cross-sectional height of sand fence partition area, automatic level device is adopted. During the study period of this research, the minimal values of Zone I, Zone II and Zone III all appeared in 2008, which shows that the quantity of the sand dunes is decreasing; meanwhile, it was found that the height of the sand dunes in the in-shore side shows a decreasing trend, that is, in 2008, due to the erosion by sea waves, the coast line shoes partial move-back to the land side. Generally speaking, the plant area of representative plant does not show a trend of obvious increase, and its area is dependent on the coverage condition of dune storm.
