碩士 / 中華大學 / 土木與工程資訊學系(所) / 97 / This study collects pictures of the environment of the marine coast in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli. I divide elements such as the sky, the sea, the trees, and the beaches into five groups, which are the scenery of coasts and beaches, the scenery of broad coats, the scenery of fishing ports, the scenery of coastal construction, the scenery of the natural flora of sea coasts. I arrange and analyze them with RGB label and the proportion of screen to get the characteristics of color in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli. And later on, I bring them in to discussion with Color Image Scale and SD Profile.
My conclusion is: first, the color series of the sea and sky are more leaning to the color tone of gray-blue or green-blue; the color series the trees are grayer and darker, which may be owing to the character of the flora along the west coast and the whole environment. The grass-green also has brown in it; the beaches along the coast are mainly gray or gray-brown; coastal construction, such as dikes and armored blocks are mainly belongs to the color tone of gray; colors with greater value and chrome changes appear on the fishing boats or facilities of fishing ports, though they do not occupies large proportion of the pictures but they tend to become the focus. Second, people do not prefer the fragments or disorder of colors on beaches and natural floras. Third, people prefer natural colors with larger area and in continuous color series but without the color tone of gray. Fourth, intense colors and colorfulness are preferred on artificial facilities of fishing ports. And the last, the preference of coastal construction changes due to the environmental influences.
My research though trying to predict the preferences by analysis of environmental colors, it can be a reference to the relative designing projects.
