Association analysis of Alzheimer’s disease related gene expression with microarray data / 利用微陣列資料探討阿滋海默症相關基因之表現關聯性

碩士 / 輔仁大學 / 生命科學系碩士班 / 97 / Alzheimer disease (AD) is the most common form of age-associated dementia. The characteristic and invariant lesions in brains of afflicted individuals include the accumulation of β-amyloid (Aβ) peptides in senile plaques, and the presence of hyperphosphorylated tau protein in neurofibrillary tangles. The production and accumulation of Aβ is derived from proteolysis of amyloid precursor protein (APP) by β-and γ-secretase. The aim of this study is to search microarray database, using different data analysis tool to analyze Alzheimer disease related gene expression. First we used liquid association to find out Alzheimer disease APP gene and let-7 miRNA correlated genes. Another microarray data came from NCBI database Affymetrix microarray GSE 1297 chip, with 9 control and 22 AD subjects of varying severity on 31 separate microarrays. We use data analysis tool form NCBI to query different group to find out association genes. Our results suggest that significantly correlated gene groups included neural genes, tumor genes, immune genes, and signal transduction genes. Here we provided a new analysis tool to find Alzheimer disease correlated genes.
