Cooperation in the region has become the most watched of the current hot topic. This article study the Chinese Communist government since 1949 to build on the past in the process of regional economic development strategy and the development of the layout of the current situation, and then imported to the economic zone of western side of the Straits to explore its origins, scope, location and policy analysis.
At present, all provinces of the Chinese mainland actively have sought the best location for future development, of course, is no exception in Fujian Province. Fujian Province is the closest to mainland China and Taiwan province and also an important area of investment for Taiwan businessmen in mainland China . Fujian's economic development and political developments affect the future direction of cross-strait relations. To explore the economic zone in Fujian Province and the economic zone of western side of the Straits’ the development plan is necessary. This article mainly through study of the economic zone of western side of the Straits’ development strategy to explore the idea seek the development of Kinmen, Taiwan and China's economic growth in the future path of the play role.
