碩士 / 開南大學 / 物流與航運管理學系 / 97 / Due to the increasing utilization of ocean shipping for goods shipping in recent years, marine transportation causes more pollution and has great overall impact on global carbon dioxide emissions. Marine organizations and shippings from worldwide such as IMO, UN and DNV eagerly attempt to improve greenhouse gas emissions. Before new green energy has well employed, the best wory that we can do is effective to adopt effective energy saving policies and techniques now. Therefore, this study attempt to establish minimum energy consumption routes through marine information of empirical study on RORO ships in navigation, we collected real marine data, including ocean current, wind, wave etc. to calculate the influence on the energy consumption of vessel engines. Moreover, the optimum results are figured out through dynamic programming approach, and have been verified to save proximately 7% and 5% energy consumption. This result can offer a effective method to reduce energy consumption and GHG emissions.
