(1) In terms of research on correlation between the criteria of task characteristics and retention commitment, research has found other than the indifference in task diversification, criteria such as task importance, task autonomy and task feedback are positively correlated to retention commitment; results of Mainland China test samples are most significant for such discovery; that is, with circumstances in higher task identity, task importance, task autonomy and task feedback, the higher retention commitment for the employees.

(2) Employees in both Taiwan and Mainland China reveal significant positive influence in corporate climate against retention commitment, and Mainland Chinese employees show a higher influence over Taiwanese counterparts in retention commitment, which indicates that Mainland Chinese employees are much more responsive to corporate climate.
